Resume Help

Your ticket to an interview is an outstanding resume that tells potential employers not only what you’ve done, but who you are and what you can add to their company.

If you search online, you will see that most websites offering resume templates use the same formula for the Experience section: a list of your duties, plus any results you have achieved that can be measured. As a high schooler or new college grad without a lot of industry-specific experience, you need more than that. I can help you develop a resume that is a true reflection of who you are and what you can do for an employer.

Start now by getting a copy of Preparing a Resume for Beginners. This short ebook shows you how to put together a resume and how to describe your experience so it has meaning for someone who has to make a hiring decision. Cost: $5.00

Resume Review Service

High School: $25
College: $35
Professional: $75
Cover Letters*: $25

Includes up to 2 hours of review and consultation. Starting with what you consider a complete resume, I will review it and ask for additional information to clarify and flesh out what you have written. Based on that, I will edit the resume where you can see the changes made. You will rework the resume, then I take one final look at it to fine-tune anything that lacks polish. Working together, you will end up with a polished resume that you can send out to potential employers.

Please Note: This is a one to two week process, depending upon how much work needs to be done and my availability. If you need a rush review with a shorter turnaround, there is an additional $25 charge. *Cover Letter service is only available with the resume service.
